The excitment is building
Hi everyone,
Well things are starting to get exciting now. This week should finally see the printing of our labels, cant wait for that one. Also getting close to bottling next week, and that will be a huge day, finally holding a bottle in my hand...wont be able to get the lid off quick enough! ha ha
We have been innundated with applications for our Brand Ambassador job, so thanks to all applicants, and bear with us as we sort through it all. We really want to make sure that piece of the puzzle fits.
I know I promised a shop last week, but as bottling was postponed , I postponed the shop as well. Will get on to it this week though. The first 25 people to order a case are in for a treat with an invitation to our sensational launch party, and bonus bottle of wine. So keep an eye out (or join the mailing list or this blog to keep updated) and get in quick when we go online, dont forget you can pre-order by email currently as well, and as some people have already done this, the tickets are going fast.
Have a fantastic week, drink up, in the name of supporting the wine industry (its a great excuse),
cheers Kirily.

Hi everyone,
well this week I am going to try to get the shop set up, so you can all start ordering wine next week hopefully. We will launch with a 'special offer' of some sort so stay tuned, you dont want to miss out on that one.
We look like being on target for bottling last week in June, if I could just find some Cabernet!!
So have a great week, personally feeling a bit philosophical, so looks like a good week for Shiraz.
Keep warm, it's really let us know that winter is here in Clare,
cheers Kirily.

set backs...
Hi,
Well this week I have been working on getting the wines on here, so keep watching, wont be long til you can check them out, or the labels at least! That should get the mouth watering.
Had a few set backs with the co-ordination of all the things required to get the wine into the bottle. Being 'virgins' at doing this, it has been quite the challenge, but the industry is thankfully full of professionals who DO know what they are doing, and are very willing to offer advice. First the label designs have to be ready... The printer has to be available...Then the wine has to be ready... The bottling line has to be free...and well lets just say if one thing gets held up the whole thing goes pear shaped! And at the moment as we are stuck on item 1...well you get the idea. Hopefully we will have wine online to buy by the end of July.
stay tuned for the next installment, where I try to curb my use of ...
Thanks to everyone who has signed the book and sent me their ideas, its very helpful.

Here we go...
Hi everyone out there,
Dont really know what Im doing, so bear with me while I work out how to be a blogger!
I have set up this blog for anyone who is interested in following the progress as my colleagues and I attempt to set up a new wine brand. Last Word Wines.
Its exciting, its scary, and most of all its complicated!
We are trying something a bit different and going for a fun, vibrant style of wine label with personality (literally). We have given our wines a voice.
Our brand is all about giving the consumer the last word, and so to start out on the right foot, I would love to get feedback all along the way, as to how people think we are progressing.
We will be developing the website as we go, and so any comments on what should/shouldnt be on here will be very appreciated. Best to get it right from the start hey!?
cheers
